MarketWatch recently reported that the former co-head of the OppenheimerFunds Rochester Municipal Bond Team Troy Willis, J.D., CFA has joined Principal Street Partners. Acting as the firm’s new Chief Investment Officer of Municipal Bond Strategies, Willis will use his decades of experience to bring a unique, institutional perspective as he collaborates on investment implementation and research for all of Principal Street Partners’ fixed income strategies. He also will chair the Principal Street Partners investment committee.
During his time serving as the co-head of the OppenheimerFunds Rochester Municipal Bond Team, Willis spent nearly 20 years managing $26 billion in assets while he and his team delivered top decile weighted average performance and top yielding Municipal Bond Funds. He left his previous firm last year, following its purchase by Invesco.
